1. What the Site Is — and Is Not
The Site provides practice questions to help you prepare for U.S. state driver's license knowledge exams. Questions are written based on publicly available official state driver handbooks and are offered in English and Spanish.
The Site is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Department of Driver Services, Secretary of State, or any other government agency. Our practice questions are not actual exam questions. Traffic laws, fees, and testing requirements change; always verify current rules with your state's official driver handbook and licensing agency. Using the Site does not guarantee that you will pass any official examination.
2. Using the Site
All practice tests on the Site are free to use and do not require an account. You agree to use the Site only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Site's question content
- Attempt to interfere with the Site's operation or security
- Use automated tools to access the Site in a way that burdens our infrastructure
3. Ad-Free Upgrade
The Site is supported by advertising. We offer an optional one-time purchase (currently $4.99 USD) that removes ads for 30 days on the browser and device where the purchase is verified. This is a one-time payment, not a subscription — nothing renews automatically and no recurring charges are made.
The upgrade affects only the display of advertising. All practice content is identical for free and upgraded users.
How it works. After payment, we set a secure cookie in your browser that activates the ad-free experience for 30 days. Because the Site does not use accounts, the upgrade is tied to that browser. If you clear your cookies or switch devices, contact us at the email below with your purchase email and we will help restore your upgrade for the remainder of the 30-day period.
4. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown before checkout and may change for future purchases (never retroactively). Because the upgrade is an inexpensive digital service delivered immediately, all sales are final; however, if something went wrong — for example, you paid and did not receive the ad-free experience, or you were charged twice — contact us within 14 days at the email below and we will make it right, including a refund where appropriate.
5. Intellectual Property
The Site's design, code, text, question bank, and translations are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. State driver handbooks and official traffic laws are public materials of their respective agencies; our original questions, explanations, and translations are our own work. You may not reproduce or create derivative works from the Site's content without our written permission.
6. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We work hard to keep questions accurate and current, but we do not warrant that content is error-free or reflects the most recent changes in law, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or secure.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $10 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
8. Changes to the Site or Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms; the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
